Changes to training site and supervisor accreditation
Last year, we shared with you an update to our change in circumstances process. If your registrar submits a change in circumstances request to update their training site and/or supervisor, both the new site and supervisor must now already be accredited against the RACGP Standards for general practice training.
We’ve also updated our change in circumstances request form in the FSP portal, so registrars can submit all requests in one place for a more streamlined experience.
Clinical Competency Exam (CCE) enrolments closing soon
A reminder that enrolments for the CCE 2026.1 close on 23 March. If your registrar is eligible and intends to sit the exam, please encourage them to enrol as soon as possible. You'll find key dates, details and enrolment links here.
They can also access the comprehensive new RACGP exam preparation toolkit on gplearning, bringing all exam preparation and support resources together in one easy-to-navigate course.
Program uplift from 2027.1
We're making changes to the structure of the FSP from Term 1, 2027 (2027.1). These changes won’t affect current registrars’ education or training.
The uplift follows extensive consultation throughout 2025 and aims to better prepare future FSP applicants for practice in the Australian healthcare system. It also supports a flourishing GP workforce, enhances education and training, and aligns more closely with the RACGP’s training frameworks.
