GPs in training wellbeing
Prioritise your own health
It’s essential as a GP in training to prioritise your own health. Always remember, you're a person first and a doctor second – your health matters too.
Take the RACGP wellbeing self-assessment tool to reflect on your personal and professional wellbeing and identify practical self-care actions. The activity can be completed within minutes, is confidential, and will provide you with a personalised wellbeing report.
It can be helpful to take this wellbeing report along to check-ups with your own GP. If you don’t have a GP, you can be connected with one in your local area by contacting the Doctors' National Health Line on 1800 006 888.
