2025.1 Placement process: Registrar training intention update opens on 1 October

From Tuesday 1 - Monday 7 October, you will be required to complete your training intention update for 2025.1 in the training management system (TMS). This is the first step to securing a placement for the coming semester.   

The RACGP will use the information to allocate you to a placement location group. You’ll receive an email from your training coordinator to confirm this, and you can apply to training sites within this group from Monday 21 October.  

If you have questions or concerns about the placement process, please contact your training coordinator, or review the placement process resources in the TMS. 

Have you considered an incentivised or remote supervision placement?

RACGP's placement incentives provide additional funding to registrars training in areas of workforce need. You'll benefit from the breadth and depth of clinical experience available in regional, rural and remote settings, and receive funding to help with relocation and living costs. Support for registrars planning to sit CCE in November

The national CCE 2024.1 webinar recording is now available on our website.  
Hosted by Dr Rebecca Lock, the CCE National Assessment Advisor, the session covers:

2025.1 written exam dates:

• AKT: 17 January 2025 
• KFP: 18 January 2025 

Enrolments close on 1 October 2024. 

Special Considerations: Any requests for special consideration must be submitted by the enrolment deadline using the special arrangements application form. If you’re unable to see your care provider for supporting documentation before the enrolment deadline, please email assessment@racgp.org.au.
