Off-site supervision

All FSP registrars require an accredited supervisor for the FSP. Where a suitable accredited supervisor isn’t available onsite, registrars may request an off-site supervisor however approval of this is at the discretion of the RACGP.

If you have a registrar in your training site who has an off-site supervisor, we encourage you to read the expectations of off-site supervisors in the FSP so you can better support the registrar and understand the role of their off-site supervisor. 

New term commencement

We’d like to remind you that we’re approaching the end of the current term, with a new term to commence on Monday 8 July 2024, running through to 3 January 2025.

Please check in with your registrar to ensure they have met all their term requirements.

GP in training applications opening soon

Help us spread the word to encourage the next generation to become a GP – 2025 applications open soon

Australia needs a strong general practice workforce. With your support, we can encourage the next generation to become a GP. If you know someone that would make a great GP or Rural Generalist, encourage them to express their interest today.

Applications for the 2025.1 Fellowship Support Program and 2025 Australian General Practice Training Program second intake open on Monday 22 July 2024.
