Hi, Deb Docking here, practice manager liaison officer (PMLO) for South Australia, here to support our amazing practice managers and the very important role you play in GP training. 
 

What is a PMLO? 

PMLOs in each region are all current practice managers, some urban and some rural/remote, so we understand the frontline just like you. 

What do PMLOs do?  

Our role is to support you with issues or questions. To represent and advocate for your needs and be your voice within the College. We contribute to the development of processes and resources to support GP training in practices. 

How do you contact us? 

We all work part-time, so our response time may vary but don’t let that stop you. Your engagement helps us understand how the College can support you and our practice manager community in the training arena, to provide better outcomes for all.

2025.2 placement process open

The RACGP placement process for 2025.2 has begun, with the training site capacity update now open in the training management system (TMS) until 17 March. 

The information you provide in this update is vital for us to understand training vacancies for 2025.2 and help us equitably distribute registrars for placements across Australia. This is also a great opportunity to update your practice profile and ensure your contact details are up to date. 

Please take note of the placement process key dates, and reach out to your training coordinator if you need support. 

Present at Practice Owners Conference

We're offering members with a passion for innovation the chance to present at Practice Owners Conference 2025, taking place in Melbourne from 24–25 May.  

From health economics and business innovation to environmental sustainability, we want to hear how you're shaping the future of general practice. Expressions of interest close 12 March.
