In Practice: AHPRA regulatory requirements sessions
Two upcoming educational webinars for GPs will outline mandatory reporting requirements, and monitoring and compliance processes.
AHPRA is hosting two free webinars in July to support GPs’ understanding of regulatory requirements and obligations.

The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) is hosting two free webinars in July to support practitioners, employers and health services in understanding regulatory requirements and obligations.
Health service liaison: How AHPRA can support employers and health services with notifications
Tuesday 7 July, 12.15 – 1.15 pm (AEST)
This webinar will explore mandatory reporting requirements, how to lodge notifications, practical strategies to mitigate workplace risk, and how AHPRA’s Health Service Liaison Team can assist employers and practitioners. Real-world case examples will also be discussed.

Supporting a health practitioner with restrictions: What you need to know
Wednesday 22 July, 1.15 – 2.15 pm (AEST)
Designed for supervisors, mentors, educators, treating practitioners, auditors and other monitoring third parties, this session will outline monitoring and compliance processes, obligations of monitoring roles, and the information AHPRA may request to support practitioners with registration restrictions.

RACGP Future Governance survey
The RACGP is inviting members to help shape the future governance of the college ahead of the 2026 AGM. Governance plays an important role in how the college makes decisions, represents members and plans for the college’s future.
Members are encouraged to share their views by completing the Future Governance survey and contributing to this consultation. Members can also review the proposed changes via the Future Governance webpage.

The National Asthma Council Australia is holding a free webinar on the updated approach to asthma diagnosis across different age groups, based on the Australian Asthma Handbook – an RACGP-endorsed clinical guideline.
This will include recognising clinical patterns, choosing appropriate investigations, interpreting lung function, and establishing an accurate diagnosis across different age groups, with opportunities to ask practical questions about spirometry and the FeNO (fractional exhaled nitric oxide) test.
National Guide workshops continue across Australia
Following strong engagement at Queensland events, the National Guide workshop series continues with upcoming events in Melbourne, Alice Springs and Sydney.
Join Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health leaders and experienced clinicians to explore practical applications of the National Guide, strengthen delivery of culturally safe preventive care, and earn CPD hours. Register via the links above, places are limited.
