In Practice: Supporting practitioners with restrictions
An AHPRA webinar aims to help GPs nominated to undertake roles required by restrictions imposed on a practitioner’s registration.
AHPRA will help GPs better understand their role in supporting safe practise.
This week’s In Practice also includes details on how to participate in a study exploring different perspectives on sharing general practice data for research.
Supporting a health practitioner with restrictions
Webinar: Monday 27 October, 3.30 – 4.30 pm (AEDT)
Register online by Friday 24 October
Are you supporting a practitioner with restrictions as a supervisor, educator, mentor, treating practitioner, or senior person? Join the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) to find out more about your role in supporting safe practise.
GPs are invited to attend an online information session that focuses on helping individuals that have been nominated to undertake roles required by restrictions imposed on another practitioner’s registration (monitoring third parties).
This session provides information on the role of monitoring third parties, including processes, protections and obligations.
Help shape the future of general practice research
Are you a general practice manager or general practice owner? The University of Wollongong is inviting GPs to participate in a study exploring perspectives on sharing general practice data for research.
The insights provided will help guide ethical, social, legal and practical approaches to using general practice data.
Participants will be asked to take part in a one-hour Zoom interview and share their views, experiences, and considerations around sharing general practice data for research.
Input will be treated with confidentiality and will contribute to advancing the ethical use of general practice data in research.
