Yorkeys Medical is looking for a friendly GP to join our established community practice in Yorkeys Knob, Cairns.
We are a locally owned, doctor led clinic with a loyal patient base, supportive nursing team, experienced reception staff and practical management support.
The role would suit a GP looking for flexible sessions, a steady patient load and a relaxed coastal lifestyle in Far North Queensland.
Yorkeys Medical provides broad general practice care including family medicine, chronic disease management, preventive health, women’s and men’s health, children’s health, care plans, health assessments, skin checks and minor procedures.

We are open to discussing different arrangements depending on your circumstances, including school hours sessions, part time work, return to work options or gradually increasing sessions.
About you
We are looking for a GP who is clinically sensible, patient-centred, reliable and comfortable with broad general practice. Interests in skin cancer, procedures, women’s health, chronic disease or aged care would be welcome but are not essential.
VR GPs are preferred, but we are happy to discuss suitable applicants.

Remuneration
Competitive percentage of billings, negotiable depending on experience and session commitment. 65%+
