Most GPs encounter medicinal cannabis occasionally. A small number choose to develop real depth in it. This role is designed for the latter.

We are a full-scope, accredited GP practice focused on chronic and complex care, where medicinal cannabis is integrated into ongoing, structured patient management. This is not an add-on. It is a meaningful part of the clinical work.

You will work with chronic and multi-system conditions, managing patients over time with follow-up and evolving care plans. Medicinal cannabis is used where appropriate within clear clinical frameworks and governance.

What makes this role different: cannabis is a consistent part of your clinical scope, with a structured approach to chronic disease care, a collaborative GP team, support with complex cases, curated patient flow aligned to this area, and a flexible hybrid model combining clinic and work from home.

What you will get: a busy, established patient base, the opportunity to build a recognised clinical focus, a supportive clinical team, GP leadership that understands risk and good medicine, and flexible part-time, full-time and hybrid options.

Who this suits: FRACGP-qualified, non-restricted GPs who want medicinal cannabis to be a meaningful part of their practice, have an interest in chronic disease and continuity of care, value structured and thoughtful medicine, and want to build confidence and depth over time.

This is not a high-volume prescribing role. It is a structured, well-supported way to develop real clinical capability in this area. Confidential enquiries welcome.
