We are seeking a motivated and experienced Clinical Lead – Emergency
Medicine, Mersey Community Hospital (MCH), to work for the Department of
Health (DoH) in the North West region. This role will require the
successful applicant to work with the Clinical Director - Emergency
Medicine and assist with providing a high level of strategic leadership
and direction, ensuring resources are efficiently utilised, services are
effectively integrated within the hospital/service and the highest
standards of service delivery are achieved in accordance with
hospital/service policy directions, service standards and financial
targets. In addition, the Clinical Lead will provide specialist
emergency medical care to patients attending the Department of Emergency
Medicine at the MCH in Latrobe, while some clinical shifts may be
undertaken at the North West Regional Hospital, Burnie.

working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible, for a
three year period.

Specialist Medical Practitioners
Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 1 - Senior Specialist Medical
Practitioner Level 3 ($222,789 - $319,701 per annum, pro rata + 12%
superannuation).
Essential Requirements: Specialist or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia in a relevant specialty.
