This position offers a competitive
remuneration package with expected annual earnings of $250,000 – $350,000+,
depending on experience, hours worked and billings generated. A minimum income
guarantee may be available for an initial period, together with relocation
support for suitable candidates.
Key
Responsibilities :The successful applicant will be
responsible for:
Conducting consultations to diagnose, treat
and prevent illness, disease, injury and other physical and mental
impairments.
Examining patients and assessing their medical
conditions.
Prescribing and administering medication and
treatment plans.
Referring patients to specialist medical
practitioners and allied health professionals where appropriate.
Providing preventative healthcare advice and
health education.
Managing chronic disease and complex
healthcare needs.
Performing minor medical procedures within
scope of practice.
Maintaining accurate clinical records and
ensuring compliance with Medicare and RACGP requirements.
Participating in quality improvement and
patient safety initiatives.
