Gamay Health Services is seeking an experienced and passionate General Practioner to join our growing Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service in La Perouse, Sydney. 

Based at La Perouse Aboriginal Community Health Centre, we provide culturally safe, holistic and community-led healthcare that supports the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Our mission is to improve health outcomes through clinical excellence, cultural respect, and strong community partnerships. 

Located just 14 km from Sydney CBD, La Perouse is classified as a rural area under the ASGS-RA, offering the opportunity to gain recognised rural experience while remaining with metropolitan Sydney.

This is an exciting time to join our service as we expand to meet increasing community demand. You will work within a supportive team that includes a lead GP, nurses, Aboriginal Health workers/ practioners, reception staff and a practice manager. We are also developing a broader multidisciplinary model of care through partnerships with allied health providers. 

Essential Requirement
Unrestricted Ahpra registration as a Specialist General Practioner

Desirable 
FRACGP or ACCRM Fellowship
Additional qualifications and/or experience in First Peoples' Health 

Renumeration & Benefits 
Competitive percentage of billings based on experience
Guaranteed minimum hourly rate for the first three months
Supportive onboarding and assistance with patient base development 
Eligibility for rural classification benefits
No after-hours requirements
Flexible part-time arrangements (2-3 days per week)
