MAIN PURPOSE OF POSITION
Provide whole person, comprehensive, coordinated and continual primary health care for individuals, families and communities.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in medicine e.g. MBBS
- Excellent Communication skills and understanding of Australian Health Care systems.
- Eligible for registration with AHPRA.
- Medical Board of Australia.
- 2 yrs. medical work experience.
Clinical Competence in assessment of critically ill patients requiring immediate referral to hospital or to appropriate Specialist care, emergency medicine and broad understanding of Australian standards of GCP and community health care, chronic disease management including EPC and GP management plan is a requirement. Pediatrics, women's health, acute and chronic disease management are key requirements as well as a patient caring professional mannerism. Performing minor procedures is optional.
