Are you a passionate General Practitioner looking to make a meaningful impact in a unique primary healthcare setting - with no Medicare billing?

This is your opportunity to travel across Australian Defence Force (ADF) bases as a Civilian Bench Medical Officer, delivering high-quality care to serving personnel.

A "Bench" role offers permanent employment with full-time pay and entitlements, including annual and sick leave.  You'll be deployed to fill short-term vacancies, planned leave, or unexpected absences across sites.  While flexibility and availability are essential, you'll be paid as a full-time employee regardless of whether all shifts are filled.

What you'll do

  • Deliver high-quality primary care to Defence members
  • Work in an occupational health setting, including fitness-for-duty assessments, pre/post-deployment care, injury and chronic disease management, and preventative health
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team focused on patient wellbeing

What you bring

  • Unrestricted AHPRA registration
  • FRACGP, FACRRM or Vocational Registration
  • Minimum 2 years' GP experience in the last 5 years
  • Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
  • Australian Citizenship (Baseline Security Clearance required)
  • Commitment to CPD and patient-centred care
