General Practitioner – Youth Mental Health (Part-Time) Multiple Roles

Location: Choose to work at any of our headspace sites across Penrith, Mt Druitt, Katoomba or Hawkesbury.

Join headspace in providing youth-focused, holistic healthcare. We have a number of GP roles available as we focus on expanding our service support even further to focus on physical health. headspace offers an attractive fixed hourly award rate no need to worry about cancellations or DNAs. You’ll be supported by a multidisciplinary team including psychologists, social workers and nurses.

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct high-quality GP assessments for young people aged 12–25
  • Manage Mental Health Care Plans and referrals
  • Address physical and mental health concerns, including preventive care
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Receive clinical supervision and tailored administrative support

About You:

  • AHPRA-registered GP with relevant qualifications
  • Experience in youth and/or mental health
  • Skilled in evidence-based treatment and multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Strong communication and care coordination abilities
