Remuneration: Up to 70% of gross billings or $170 per hour for the first 12 weeks (whichever is greater).

Position Purpose
Provide comprehensive, coordinated and ongoing primary healthcare services to individuals, families and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities
Assess, diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions. Provide preventative healthcare, health assessments and health education. Develop and manage GP Management Plans and chronic disease care. Refer patients to hospitals, specialists and allied health providers as required. Maintain accurate clinical records and participate in quality improvement activities. Manage patients across a broad range of presentations, including paediatrics, women's health and chronic disease management.
Essential Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent recognised medical qualification.
- Current AHPRA registration (or eligibility for registration).
- Minimum 3 years' post-graduate clinical medical experience.
- Demonstrated competence in primary care, chronic disease management and emergency assessment.
- Ability to identify critically ill patients and arrange appropriate referral to hospital or specialist care.
- Knowledge of the Australian healthcare system and community-based healthcare delivery.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Desirable
- RACGP/ACRRM Fellowship or equivalent.
- Experience performing minor procedures.
- Experience with Australian general practice software systems.
