Kapooka Health

The Health Centre & Clinic are approx. 10 mins outside of Wagga Wagga within the Kapooka Military area.  All Army soldiers complete Basic Training here and is known as the “Home of the Soldier”.  The health facilities support the Army Recruit Training Centre (ARTC).  Services provided include primary medical, nursing, dental, mental health, pharmaceutical and physiotherapy.  Health Centre staff may be required to work across Wagga & Kapooka.  Standard hours of operation are generally 0700-1600 Monday to Friday.  Weekend and on-call shifts equally shared.

What you'll do

Deliver high quality care to Defence members working within an MDT setting  Occupational medicine environment, pre/post deployment care, fitness for duty assessments, injury management, chronic disease management and preventative healthcare What you bring AHPRA registration - unrestricted as a General Practitioner (FRACGP/FACRRM/FRACGP-RG or VR) Minimum 2 years' full time equivalent GP experience within the last 5 years (GPT counts) CPR Certificate (HLTAID009) - within last 12 months  Australian Citizenship - for Baseline Security Clearance
