About the Role:
Applications are invited for General Practitioners to work in the Menopausal Connecting Care Clinic (MCCC) at Sandringham Hospital, Bayside Health. The successful candidates will work 1session per week (3.5 hours) under the supervision of an endocrinologist for a 6 month period.
Qualifications and Skills:
Required: Our preferred candidate must possess the following experience and attributes: A keen interest in menopause-related care and wishing to upskill in the field of managing menopause. Appointees must be legally qualified medical practitioners, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) without conditions, undertakings or reprimands that could impact on their clinical practice. Be a Fellow of either the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners or the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine. Meets Bayside Health requirements for credentialing and scope of practice Specialty General Practice. Strong communication skills, including well-developed conflict resolution skills. Ability to liaise well with other staff at all levels. Demonstrated flexibility in problem solving and the capability to develop and sustain highly collaborative relationships with others/ other teams.
