Macquarie University Health is seeking a General
Practitioner to join our new Macquarie University Doctors student bulk-billing clinic.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a brand-new service.
We are recruiting for 1.0 FTE, this could be filled
by one full-time GP or two part-time GPs.
Working within an innovative academic health sciences
centre, you will not only provide excellent clinical care, but also have the
opportunity to supervise and train medical students and GP Registrars.
Based within the Macquarie University Doctors clinic, you
will provide bulk-billed general practice services to eligible Macquarie
University students. The clinic delivers a broad scope of primary care services.
Selection Criteria
Current Specialist
General Practitioner registration in Australia with a fellowship
with the RACGP or equivalent
Demonstrated
experience as a General Practitioner, with an interest in or experience
providing healthcare to young adult and student populations
Demonstrated
interest and aptitude for one or more of the following: supervision of
students, delivery of educational activities and/or primary care research
Demonstrated
excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a wide range of
stakeholders including patients and other health professionals
Demonstrated
ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment
Knowledge
of and commitment to continuous improvement, evidence-based practice and
promoting a culture of safety, quality, innovation and best practice in
clinical practice, teaching and research
