Prescript is recruiting GPs for locum work with a trusted Aboriginal Medical Service on the South Coast of NSW. These roles are based in Bega and Batemans Bay — two stunning coastal communities offering the ideal mix of lifestyle and purpose-led medicine. You'll be working in a team that’s deeply embedded in the community, delivering holistic, culturally safe care across physical, mental, and social wellbeing.

The position runs Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with no after-hours or weekend work required. You'll be supported by experienced Aboriginal Health Workers, nurses, and on-site allied health staff. The clinic is well-resourced, with programs ranging from chronic disease management to social and emotional wellbeing. Whether you’re a seasoned AMS doctor or a new Fellow with a strong interest in Indigenous health, this is an opportunity to contribute meaningfully while being part of a collaborative and respectful workplace.

These roles are in high demand and are already booked through the end of 2025. Current availability starts from 5th January 2026 in Bega and from 1st April 2026 in Batemans Bay. The daily rate is $1,500, with all travel and accommodation included. Minimum bookings of four weeks are preferred, and repeat placements are welcome.
