Vigour Medical is an established private complex-care clinic seeking a thoughtful GP for a flexible remote follow-up role with established patients. This is a non-traditional clinical GP role, not conventional short-consult general practice. The clinic supports patients with chronic multisystem conditions, including dysautonomia/POTS, ME/CFS, EDS/hypermobility, long COVID, MCAS-type presentations, chronic fatigue, medication sensitivity and related complex chronic disease. The role suits a GP who enjoys longer consultations, continuity, follow-up, broad diagnostic thinking and patients who often do not fit neatly into standard guideline-based pathways.Patients may have long healthcare journeys, complex functional needs, neurodivergence, psychosocial stressors and access barriers. The work requires strong clinical judgement, documentation, patient-centred communication, curiosity across body systems and comfort with a structured clinical framework. The role includes follow-up, medication and pathology review, treatment tolerance monitoring, multidisciplinary coordination, patient education and escalation of complex decisions to the principal GP. It also requires a broad diagnostic lens and recognition of missed diagnoses across gastrointestinal, vascular, endocrine, neurological and other systems. For ME/CFS, EDS and dysautonomia, there is often no single curative treatment or complete guideline pathway. The work focuses on improving function by addressing modifiable contributors over time, while remaining disciplined about safety, informed consent, documentation and monitoring. The role is initially 1-2 remote sessions per week, with potential to grow if the fit is right. It is unlikely to suit someone seeking high-volume transactional telehealth or fully autonomous practice.Experience with POTS, ME/CFS, EDS, MCAS or long COVID is helpful but not essential. More important is being thoughtful, safe, teachable, curious and comfortable with complex patients.
