medical needs of Victorian Aboriginal communities. 2023 marked a landmark year as VAHS
proudly celebrated its 50-year of providing a comprehensive range of medical, dental, allied
health and social services for our community.
About the Opportunity
The position is responsible for the provision of General Practitioner services to Aboriginal and
Torres Strait Islander clients and families as part of a multi-disciplinary team of medical and
health staff, within the operational framework of an Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander
community-controlled Health Service.
Prerequisites
•General Practitioner with Vocational Registration (FRACGP,
FACRRM or equivalent)
• Current Medical Indemnity Insurance
• Current Medicare Provider and prescriber numbers
• RACGP QI & CPD triennium training and education requirements
