Assessment Process
- Step 1: GP conducts a general assessment — review medical and psychosocial history.
- Step 2: GP conducts a DIVA ADHD assessment — with someone who knew the patient in childhood.
- Step 3: Psychiatrist assessment of the patient to provide feedback to GP and further advice on formulation and treatment planning especially re: comorbidities and medication.
Followed by ongoing treatment by GP with access to case conferences as required with psychiatrist and care coordinator to address roadblocks in care delivery. 💡
