GP/VMO required for a well-established, well equipped General Practice in the charming and vibrant rural town of Coolamon. The Coolamon Regional Medical Centre a modern purpose-built medical centre located in the medical and community precinct opposite the Coolamon Ganmain Multi - Purpose Service which has 12 Nursing Home Type beds and 2 acute beds and also offers an Accident and Emergency Service. Next to the MPS is Allawah Lodge an Aged Care Hostel with a Dementia wing. Located nearby is an Ambulance station, a Community Centre and Allawah Village. The practice provides a full range of General Practice services from antenatal shared care to aged care, immunisation and preventative health care to chronic care. The doctors at the practice have an interest in skin and the practice has Mole Scan equipment.The practice is supported by a Practice Nurse, reception staff and an experienced Practice Manager. A Dental Practice is co-located, other visiting Allied Health services include a Physiotherapist, Podiatrist, Diabetes Educator, Dietitian, Speech Pathologist, Well Women's Health Nurse, Early childhood Nurse and Mental Health Nurse.Our practice is located in the charming rural town of Coolamon an easy half hour drive to the large inland city of Wagga Wagga and 20 minutes to Charles Sturt University Wagga Campus. Coolamon boasts many facilities that you would expect in a larger centre; the choice of schools, and many other education options are reached by a great bus service. Coolamon has excellent sporting and cultural facilities.
