Integrative General Practitioner

NIIM is seeking a VR-registered Integrative GP with experience in chronic disease management and prevention, to work as an independent contractor.

As an Integrative GP working at NIIM, you will provide high‑quality comprehensive general practice care across the lifespan, combining conventional general practice with a collaborative, multi‑disciplinary, integrative and holistic approach to promote long‑term wellness.

Conduct thorough consultations, examinations and investigations to diagnose and manage patients, and consider lifestyle, supplements and evidence-based complementary therapies alongside conventional medicine. Your knowledge of integrative and lifestyle medicine, and ability to assess and diagnose underlying drivers of chronic and complex illness will be key to your success.

Key responsibilities :

  • Delivering evidence‑based, patient‑centred general practice care in an integrative practice setting
  • Manage chronic conditions, with a strong focus on preventive health
  • Collaborate with allied health and complementary providers
  • Maintain accurate, confidential clinical documentation
  • Participate in audits, accreditation, CPD and quality improvement activities
  • Uphold professional standards, ethical conduct, and clinic values

About You

  • Full VR – AHPRA registration – with the ability to work unsupervised
  • FRACGP or ACRRM or equivalent, or are on the vocational register
  • Hold, or be eligible to hold, a Medicare Provider Number for A1 Medicate rebates
  • ABN & professional indemnity insurance
  • Location freedom and Australian work rights.
