Take your skills where they truly make an impact while earning excellent daily rates in one of Australia’s most extraordinary regions.

We’re seeking experienced locum GPs for exclusive placements across the Kimberley in Bidyadanga, Beagle Bay and Kutjungka (Balgo, Mulan and Billiluna).

Rates:

• $1,800 per day + $300 on call (Bidyadanga & Beagle Bay)

• $2,100 per day (Kutjungka – on call for full placement)

Available Dates:

Bidyadanga – ASAP–July 2026 | & 14 Dec–14 Jan 2027

Beagle Bay – 29 Jun–19 Jul 2026 | & 14 Dec–14 Jan 2027

Kutjungka – 18 Sep–16 Oct 2026 | & 27 Nov–1 Jan 2027

GPs participate in the on-call roster (typically 2–3 days per week depending on staffing). Highly experienced Remote Area Nurses manage first on-call and emergencies with GP support as required. Retrieval services are supported by the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

In Kutjungka, you’ll work as a solo GP within a well-supported team of Remote Area Nurses and Aboriginal Health Practitioners. Visionflex telehealth is available, and MMEx training can be provided in Broome if required.

Self-contained accommodation is provided at all sites. Bidyadanga and Beagle Bay are under two hours’ drive from Broome. In Kutjungka, outreach clinics are day visits with return to Balgo accommodation each evening.

Practise broad-scope, meaningful medicine in culturally rich Aboriginal communities while experiencing the Kimberley’s striking landscapes - from desert horizons to pristine coastline. Opportunities are limited. Enquire today to secure your preferred dates.
