Flexible sessions available | Face-to-face & telehealth opportunities | Training provided | Competitive fixed hourly rate
Rainbow was created because LGBTQ+ patients are too often asked to adapt themselves to healthcare systems. We believe healthcare systems should adapt to them.
We are looking for GPs to provide:
- Initial fertility & family-building consultations
- Fertility preservation discussions
- Fertility health checks & investigations
- Referrals for pathology & imaging
- Guidance around fertility pathways & next steps
- Follow-up consultations where appropriate
This role is closer to general practice than specialist fertility medicine. Our fertility specialists manage the specialist treatment pathway, while our GPs help patients begin their journey.
Opportunities are available:
- Face-to-face from our Newstead clinic
- Telehealth from anywhere in Australia
- Flexible sessions ranging from 4hrs per session, 2 sessions a day, up to 6 days per week
What We Offer:
- Competitive fixed hourly rate
- Flexible sessions designed around your lifestyle
- Full fertility training & onboarding
- Ongoing mentoring & clinical support
- Administrative support & appointment management
- Opportunity to help shape a new model of LGBTQ+ reproductive healthcare
About You:
You hold current AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner.
You may have experience in:
- LGBTQ+ healthcare
- Gender-affirming care
- Sexual health
- Women's health
- Community health
- Family medicine
Previous fertility experience is not required.
We are looking for GPs who communicate well, care deeply about patients, & want to help create better pathways for LGBTQ+ people & families.
If you've ever wished there was a healthcare system built specifically with this community in mind, we'd love to talk.
