The team
at Collinsville is seeking a Medical Officer OR a Rural Generalist Medical
Officer with Private Practice - Perm Full Time (80 hrs per fn). Part-time considered.

Mandatory qualifications/Professional
registration/Other requirements

Must
have a FACRRM or FRACGP – RG or comparability through Competent Authority
Pathway from the UK, Ireland, NZ, USA or Canada.
- At
least 3 years’ post graduate experience, with highly developed clinical
skills.
- Documented
experience of having worked in a rural environment is preferable.
- Rural
generalist skills as this role also entails work in the hospital’s
Emergency Department and general medical wards.
- Completion
of the Advanced Skill in Obstetrics (or equivalent) and be proficient and
eligible for credentialing by the Mackay HHS credentialing committee as a
Rural Generalist with Advanced Skill in Obstetrics
- The
applicant must be able to demonstrate recent clinical practice relevant to
the scope of this role, consistent with the Medical Board of Australia's
registration standards.
It is a condition of employment for
this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against diseases as
