Medical Practitioner | Veteran Health | Telehealth 100% Remote | Diagnostic and Impairment Assessments
Opportunity to join a dedicated Veteran health organisation specialising in DVA medical assessments and reports. Led by former ADF members, our team is deeply committed to supporting Veterans to access healthcare through high-quality, clinically robust assessments. This role is open to Medical Practitioners (Non-VR) and General Practitioners (VR).
About the Role
• Conduct Diagnostic and Impairment Assessments for ADF Veterans via Telehealth
• Consult with pre-screened patients supported by an experienced nursing team
• Collaborate with specialists to inform comprehensive, evidence-based medical reports
• Receive comprehensive patient information, medical imaging, pathology and specialist details to support efficient report completion
• Reports submitted by dedicated administrative support
• Direct training and ongoing clinical support from the Clinical Director
What’s on Offer
• Competitive remuneration: $165/hr Medical Practitioner | $220/hr General Practitioner (inclusive of GST)
• 2 days per week, 100% remote
• Ongoing contract with consistent work
• Full training and structured onboarding provided
• Daytime hours only – Monday to Friday, no weekends or after-hours work
Requirements
• General Registration with AHPRA
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Professional Indemnity Insurance
• Experience with or understanding of DVA patients
• Confidence delivering Telehealth consultations
• Intermediate computer skills
