 Part-time appointments up to 2 years

The Australian Government is inviting expressions of interest to fill up to 10 member positions, on the Veterans’ Affairs Ministerial Advisory Council.

We are seeking a broad range of candidates with diverse professional and lived experience from across Australia to provide independent advice on the experiences and needs of serving personnel, veterans and families.  

Candidates who have the following are encouraged to apply:

·         strong background interest and experience in, as well as an understanding of, the issues affecting the wellbeing of veterans and families

·         subject matter expertise in one or more of the following areas: health (including mental health); rehabilitation; aged-care; financial supports and compensation; veterans claims, commemoration; and lived experience

·         strategic senior leadership or board experience.
