The position is an opportunity to consolidate obstetrics and gynaecological expertise. There is a focus on holistic patient-centred care delivered within a culturally safe service. There is an opportunity to continue to develop and maintain general obstetrics and gynaecology skills with participation in the general roster, including after-hours. Identification and development of a research project would be encouraged. The position would suit a Registrar considering a career in Obstetrics and Gynaecology or wanting to strengthen their surgical ability in preparation for a career as a Regional Specialist or in a lower resource setting.
