Provision of quality, timely clinical care to all patients attending the Emergency Department (ED). Collaboration throughout the organisation to ensure seamless care across the patient journey.

With 45,000 presentations/year, you’ll manage everything from major trauma to complex medical emergencies, supported by:

  • Strong consultant presence and mentorship
  • 5 hours of paid, protected teaching time each week
  • All major specialties and a fully supported ICU
  • 24-hour cardiac interventional angiography
  • Direct consultant supervision, 7 days per week

Details of appointment: Fixed term full or part time, shift worker positions.  Contracts up to 2 years can be accommodated.

Salary: $134,930 - $189,005 per annum, pro rata + 12% superannuation (in accordance with Medical Practitioners Agreement 2022)Additional allowances and benefits may be available including relocation assistance, professional development leave and salary packaging.

Eligibility: Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria as:

  • General or Limited Registration with the Medical Board of Australia
  • Current Working with Children Registration
