This role offers a unique dual-facility experience across Emerald Hospital and Blackwater/Springsure MPHS, where you will provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient services under the guidance of senior mentors like Dr. Ewen McPhee.  

About the Role

  • Manage comprehensive clinical care for a diverse patient population.
  • Oversee clinical investigations and diagnostic assessments.
  • Lead emergency and acute care responses within a 24-hour shift roster.
  • Support the professional development of medical students.
  • Participate in clinical audits to drive continuous service improvement.

About You

  • You hold an MBBS and AHPRA registration.
  • You are committed to rural generalism and community-focused care.
  • You possess current life support qualifications (ACLS, EMST, or equivalent).
  • You are a collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
  • You demonstrate a commitment to ongoing postgraduate education.

Benefits

  • Total package up to $177,890 p.a. (L9).
  • $20,700 Inaccessibility Allowance after 12 months.
