An exciting opportunity exists for a Fellowed GP or GP Registrar in an approved 3GA training program to join the team and provide exceptional health care to patients in Maitland in rural SA.

Doctors working at Medical HQ Maitland are encouraged to participate in the on-call rosters for local hospitals in both towns. Additional remuneration is provided for these shifts.The salary for the role will be dependent on the candidate's experience, required supervision and in clinic and on call billings.

About the role:

In this role you will work as a GP or GP Registrar to:

  • Provide good, evidence based clinical careMaintain trust through professional relationships with patients
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
  • Provide A&E support to local hospitals on a shared roster

About You:

As a General Practitioner at Medical HQ, you will be a passionate GP that has:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a General Practitioner
  • Enrolled in a recognised training program with RACGP or ACRRM Registration with AHPRA
  • Police clearance
  • Working with children check
  • Passion for General Practice and Family Medicine
  • Passionate about rural health care
