About the role
This shared placement allows you to work 0.5 FTE with
RFDS, providing fly-in-fly-out primary care across some of Queensland's
most remote communities, and 0.5 FTE at Normanton Hospital, a rural
facility delivering acute, emergency, and inpatient care.
This is a Fixed Term Temporary Full-Time position
(commencing February 2026).

About You
You're a GP registrar who is passionate about rural
medicine, eager to take on new challenges, and ready to make a meaningful
impact. You're adaptable, clinically confident, and excited about
developing your skills in a one-of-a-kind training environment.
Requirements
- PGY3+
(RACGP or ACRRM pathway) or Provisional SMO
- Current
AHPRA registration
- C
Class Driver's Licence
- Willingness
to undergo pre-employment checks
- This
is a VPD risk role; immunisation evidence may be required
