Gove District Hospital in East Arnhem is seeking a Rural Generalist with advanced obstetrics skills for a high-impact locum role — ideal for doctors who want to make a difference while exploring one of Australia’s most breathtaking regions.
- Dates: 13 December 2025 – 10 January 2026 (2-week minimum)
- Rate: $3,000 per day + GST
- Location: Gove District Hospital – East Arnhem, NT
The Role:

Provide emergency and general ward care, plus obstetric and maternity services (Diploma of Rural Obstetrics or equivalent required)

Approx. 15 ED presentations per day
Retrieval coordination with CareFlight to Royal Darwin Hospital

Work as part of a skilled, supportive multidisciplinary team
