Location:   Chinchilla Health Service, Rural Health and Aged Care Division, Chinchilla, Darling Downs Hospital and Health Service

Remuneration:   Multiple permanent full and/or part time positions, hours negotiable, Package value from $369,287 (L13) up to $476,078 (L24) comprising salary rates between $92.11 (L13) and $123.58 p.h. (L24), includes salary and allowances.

What your day could look like:

As a Senior Medical Officer, you’ll play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality healthcare for rural communities. From leading clinical care to supporting service improvement and mentoring future clinicians, you’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team to create positive outcomes for patients and strengthen healthcare across the region.

Every day, you’ll contribute by:

  • Providing expert medical care that supports better health outcomes and patient experiences across rural communities
  • Working closely with colleagues across medical, nursing and allied health teams to deliver coordinated, patient-focused care
  • Leading quality, safety and clinical improvement initiatives that strengthen services and support continuous excellence.
  • Supporting the growth of future healthcare professionals through education, mentorship and professional leadership.
