Remuneration: Salary Information (L13-L17, L18–L24, L25–L27):

  • Remuneration value up to $446,109  (L17) - Base salary between $187,569 - $211,057  (L13-L17)
  • Remuneration value up to $528,803  (L24) - Base salary between $216,643 - $251,642  (L18-L24)
  • Remuneration value up to $556,089  (L27) - Base salary between $259,072 - $274,678  (L25-L27)
  • Competitive salary packaging: Generous employer superannuation contribution of 12.75% and salary packaging options

About the role

This is an opportunity for a Senior Medical Officer to join the team at Bamaga Hospital - a unique rural community where your skills make a real and visible contribution every single day. You'll provide high quality medical care across (to name a few): chronic disease management preventative health & screening women's health (antenatal, contraception) men's health child health checks & immunisations indigenous health care (highly relevant in remote QLD) trauma stabilisation (injuries, road accidents,) broader rural generalist practice within a supportive remote health team.
