Aunty Jane is leading the way in accessible, compassionate, and evidence-based abortion care in Australia. We are seeking AHPRA-registered General Practitioners who are committed to reproductive rights and want to be part of a healthcare movement that prioritises patient autonomy, cultural safety, and clinical excellence.

This is a flexible, contractor-based telehealth role. You will work remotely from anywhere in Australia, conducting virtual consultations for patients seeking medical abortion using MS-2 Step.Our systems are secure, user-friendly, and built to support both practitioner and patient needs.

You’ll be joining a multidisciplinary team of Nurse Practitioners and Endorsed Midwives united by a shared goal: making abortion care safe, discreet, and shame-free.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide virtual consultations for medical abortion care
  • Prescribe MS-2 Step within clinical and legal guidelines
  • Offer trauma-informed, patient-centred support
  • Uphold the highest standards of ethical and professional practice

About You:

  • AHPRA-registered Medical Practitioner with MBBS or equivalent
  • Experience providing sexual and reproductive health care, including medical abortion
  • Strong communication and telehealth skills
  • Committed to accessible, stigma-free healthcare
  • Comfortable working in a values-driven, social impact organisation
