Provide and support training to clinicians across
multiple disciplines to achieve quality education and safe clinical practice.
The successful applicant will be registered or
eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a General
Practitioner, Specialist Anaesthetist, or GP in training and/or overseas
trained specialist pathways. Maintain current professional development and
certification requirements as per the Joint Consultative Committee on
Anaesthesia (JCCA) and the RACGP or ACRRM.
Kempsey District Hospital GP Anaesthetists provide services to the maternity
unit including epidurals and operative deliveries, may assist with neonatal
resuscitation in conjunction with the GP Obstetricians. Airway support and
assistance with critical care in Emergency and other hospital departments
including inter hospital transfers within the local health district.
