As a VR GP working at NIIM, you will support
patients with general health concerns, family care, acute presentations,
chronic disease management plans, mental health care plans, and other routine
general practice patient presentations. You may
also support patients requiring GP review before accessing selected
NIIM services such as IV infusions or Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy,
and refer internally to other NIIM doctors or practitioners where further
support is required for
chronic, complex health concerns.
At NIIM,
you will be part of a broader healthcare environment that includes Integrative
General Practitioners, Allied Health practitioners, nurses and
complementary therapies. This role
presents an opportunity for you to be exposed to Integrative Medicine
and integrative treatment modalities, with ample collaborative and
educational opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering
general practice care in an integrative practice setting
- Collaborate
with Integrative GPs, allied health and complementary providers
- Maintain
accurate, confidential clinical documentation
- Participate
in audits, accreditation, CPD and quality improvement activities
- Uphold
professional standards, ethical conduct, and clinic values

You must have:
- Full
VR – AHPRA registration – with the ability to work unsupervised
- FRACGP
or ACRRM or equivalent, or are on the vocational register
- Hold,
or be eligible to hold, a Medicare Provider Number for A1 Medicate rebates
- ABN
& professional indemnity insurance
