VR GP Locum – Aboriginal Health Focus

We are seeking a Vocationally Registered GP to join an Aboriginal Health service in Katherine, NT for a 4-week locum placement, commencing shortly - February or March. There is potential for ongoing regular locum work beyond this placement.
The Role
You’ll be working within a well-supported Aboriginal Health setting, delivering essential primary care services including:
- Aboriginal Health Assessments and health checks
- Immunisations
- Chronic disease and complex condition management
- Preventative and holistic care within a culturally safe model
You’ll be supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team, including Aboriginal Health Practitioners, nurses, and allied health staff.

Requirements
- VR GP with Specialist AHPRA registration 2–3 years’ post-fellowship experience
- Ability to travel to and work in the NT for a 4-week placement
- Interest and experience in Aboriginal Health
- Availability for a 4 week locum placement February/March 2026
