VR General Practitioner – Medicare Urgent Care Clinic (Saturdays)
Location: Nollamara Medical Centre – Nollamara, WA
Position Details:
- Week 1: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm
- Week 2: 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm
The Role
- Provide assessment and management of non-life-threatening urgent medical presentations, including:
- Minor injuries and lacerations
- Musculoskeletal injuries
- Wound managementMinor procedures
- Acute medical presentations:
- Fracture assessment and initial managementCoordination of referrals and follow-up where required
Essential Requirements
- Vocational Registration (FRACGP or FACRRM)
- Current AHPRA Specialist Registration
- Professional indemnity insurance
- Excellent communication and clinical skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
