We are well-established, accredited community health service with clinics in Brisbane, Cairns, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Townsville. Due to an increase is services and population we are requiring a VR GP to work out of our Brisbane/Bowen Hills Clinic.
This position is offered as a salaried role or Independant Contractor on a full-time hours or pro rata for part-time, seeing a variety of clinical presentations from a diverse patient community, a typical day may involve the following presentations:
- General Medicine
- Sexual Health
- Care Plans and Complex Care
- Chronic Disease
- Drug & Alcohol
- Hep C and HIV treatment
- Aboriginal Health
- Mental Health
Currently the Care team is multi-disciplinary with a variety of clinical professionals working with the current GP (standard 15 min appointments with more complex matters running up to 30 mins). With an increase in presentations, you will support the current FTE GP in providing exceptional care to the patient community.
To be considered for this position it is essential that:
- You hold specialist registration with AHPRA as Medical Practitioner (FRACGP/FACRRM/FRNZCGP or equivalent)
- Have Medicare claiming privileges
- Hold Australian or NZ Citizenship
- Enjoy working in a busy community health setting, often with challenging or complex presentations.
