Supporting your education and training expenses

Please remember that the NCP payments received by registrars are recommended to be used as government incentives and/or allowances to support your self-education and training expenses. These incentive payments (or allowances) could be classified as assessable income for tax purposes under the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997. 

We recommend that you follow personal income tax advice in reporting this income and retain receipts to claim eligible deductions.

National CCE 2023.2 webinar

The national CCE 2023.2 webinar is scheduled for Wednesday 13 September at 7pm AEST.  

We strongly encourage anyone intending to sit the CCE in November, to attend this informative webinar.

Updates & new content – AGPT Registrar Training Handbook

The AGPT Registrar Handbook has seen some further updates, which include:

• Further information about leave (e.g. roles responsible to approve leave, more info on category 4 leave, extra references on maternity leave)
• Consistent information regarding leave requirements pertaining to Recognition of Prior Learning and Experience (RPLE) applications across the handbook
