We covered lots of ground, updating you on our workplace-based assessments for 2024.1, Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and Supervisor Professional Development (SPD), payments, new terms of reference and more.

Catch up on the RACGP Rural Generalist (FRACGP- RG) webinar

The recording of the FRACGP- RG webinar that was held on 20 November is now available for supervisors who were unable to attend on the day.  

Hosts of the webinar included: 

• Dr Ken Wanguhu, Procedural Rural General Practitioner and Rural Censor 

• Assoc Prof Michael Clements, Rural Faculty Chair RACGP and,  

• Dr Karin Jodlowski-Tan, National Clinical Head of Rural Pathways, RACGP 

Ken, Michael and Karin discussed the simplified (and zero fee) assessment for eligibility to further support our Rural GPs. The College has simplified the process to fellowship for the RG pathway, for those eligible through gained experience and prior learning.
