Get ready! 2024.2 AGPT placement applications open 15 April

You can begin applying to practices for 2024.2 placements through the TMS from Monday 15 April. Please note that practices can arrange interviews from this date but cannot make offers until 22 April 2024. An overview of key dates for the placement process can be found here.   

You will be notified via email if you receive an interview request or offer from a practice. You must have secured a placement and applied for your Medicare provider number by 3 June 2024.

Incentivised placements – 226 incentivised training locations for 2024.2

We're pleased to offer incentives to registrars undertaking placements in areas of workforce need in 2024.2.

This funding is available at 226 accredited training practices to assist with relocation costs and living expenses so that you can contribute to the health of communities that need it most. Updated AGPT claim forms now available on the TMS

The following new AGPT claim forms are now available in the TMS document library:

1. Registrar Incentivised Placement Claim 
2. New Supervisor PD Claim 
3. Supervisor PD Travel Claim (for MMM3+ supervisors) 
4. Registrar Travel to Mandatory Workshops Claim 

This is the first step in streamlining our claims process to improve the experience for practices, supervisors and registrars.  

To find the forms, click on 'Forms, Documents & Links' on the TMS homepage, or you can search for the form you need. You'll need to use the new claim forms when requesting reimbursement for incentivised placements, travel for workshops and professional development and supervisor professional development.
