Designed and facilitated by experienced rural GPs and emergency specialists, this face-to-face workshop will enhance your rural emergency medicine skills using case scenarios that reflect the challenges faced when living and working in rural and remote communities.
The workshop involves four small-group interactive case discussions and is capped at 48 participants. We’ll also explore critical considerations in managing rural emergency cases, packaging patients for retrieval, communicating effectively with retrieval teams, debriefing and self-care. All the scenarios included in the workshop are written by experienced rural GPs from actual cases.
This is a CPD-accredited activity and is approved for all categories of the Rural Procedural Grants Program.
