Placement confirmations and Medicare provider numbers
Applications for 2024.2 placements are open, and training sites can now make offers for the upcoming semester. You’ll be notified via email if you receive an offer, and you can then accept or decline via the TMS. Once you have confirmed a placement, you’ll need to apply for your Medicare provider number (MPN) no later than 3 June.

The Antibiotic prescribing in primary care: Therapeutic Guidelines summary table was updated in 2023 to temporarily include alternatives to first-line antimicrobials. The number and nature of antimicrobial
shortages has now returned to baseline. As such, the table containing shortages advice has been replaced.
