Training site capacity updates for 2024.2 placements are open! Please log in to the TMS before Tuesday 2 April to indicate whether you’d like to train registrars this semester and update your practice’s training capacity. You can also update your NCP preferences.

Explore medical educator opportunities in the Practice Experience Program (PEP) Specialist team

 Do you know a GP who may be interested in taking the next step in their medical education career? Do you have experienced supervisors or GPs who have been involved in external clinical teaching visits and want to help set the benchmark for national GP training? The College has a range of opportunities available to suit their clinical work, with flexible working arrangements and part-time hours.  
 
Successful applicants will receive support and upskilling to provide mentorship and educational support to Specialist International Medical Graduates (SIMGs). Expressions of interest can be submitted here. 
 

Support your registrars to complete Registrar Clinical Encounters in Training (ReCEnT)

The ReCEnT projects aims to provide registrars, their supervisors and medical educators, with in-depth analysis of the patients and the medical problems registrars encounter, and how they treat them.    

Registrars in participating regions are required to complete ReCEnT online encounters as a core educational activity. Please see the details and key dates for participating registrars in the table below. 

The report generated from each round of ReCEnT enables registrars to reflect on their clinical exposure with their supervisors, and adjust their training and learning goals accordingly.

Applications for the 2025 AGPT Program are currently open and close on Monday 15 April 2024.
