Supervisors have an important role in educating registrars to deliver care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and to be aware of and sensitive to their cultures. ‘Storylines' webinars provide a valuable opportunity for GP supervisors to upskill and connect.

Do you know a registrar who wants to explore an academic career? 
Applications for the 2025 AGPT Academic Post Program are now open – closing 15 July. 

During an academic post registrars partner with a university to teach medical students and develop a research project in an area of general practice that interests them, while receiving mentoring and support from medical educators, university supervisors and the RACGP. It’s a fantastic opportunity to build the foundation for a career as a general practice academic or medical educator.
